Please make note that Timberline Learning Center will be open on March 16th. The training needs of our staff cannot be fulfilled by attending the Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference in Denver.
Please complete your child's ASQ-3 and ASQ/SE-2 by Monday, November 20!
Don't Forget...there are 2 different screenings.
Thank you to all of you who were able to attend our parent night! We are excited to continue on our journey as a Reggio Inspired School and invite you to explore STEAM concepts along with us this year.
The questions that we will use to influence and guide curriculum this year will be:
How do children naturally explore S.T.E.A.M. concepts?
How do or can we cultivate the wonder of learning through this lens?
Beginning in September, our schoolwide focus will be on S.T.E.A.M. concepts in the Early Childhood Classroom.
We invite you to join us in partnership exploring S.T.E.A.M. and the wonder of learning through this lens.
What is S.T.E.A.M?
How can we promote these concepts?
Start with observation.....the play behaviors listed below occur naturally in children's play. As you begin to look for these concepts, you will see that children are naturally drawn to this type of play.
What to look for...

We will be open tomorrow as scheduled per guidance from Red White and Blue Fire Department. If you have questions, we will have someone available at the school tomorrow morning at 7:00am to assist you.
When you arrive in the morning, please provide your most current cell phone information at the front desk, we need to know that someone will be available to take our calls. We are requesting a 20 minute response time in case of evacuation so please have a plan in place upon your arrival at school tomorrow.
Your children's safety is our number one priority.
We appreciate your support and understanding.

As many of you know volunteerism is a requirement for all families here at Timberline Learning Center. We require each family to donate either 1 hour of their time of their time or $15 worth of materials per month. To make this easier for our families, all of our volunteer opportunities will now be announced through a website called SignUp Genius. All volunteer opportunities will be listed on one page, while recycling help has it's own sign up page. Please keep checking the page regularly as it will be updated when new items are requested or chaperones are needed. Our hope is that this will keep everyone more connected as well as being more 'green' by not using as much paper. The more you use the SignUp Genius website, the easier it will get; especially if you sign up to become a member of the website. This website will help you remember what you have signed up for by sending email reminders and it will help track volunteer hours so nothing gets missed.
Mark your calendars... our next faculty training day is approaching.
Timberline will be closed on Friday, May 5th for inservice
